Wet Wells – Concrete & Fiberglass
Romtec Utilities designs the entire pump station for the fastest and most accurate installation.
All possible factory assembly is done within the precast concrete or fiberglass wet well before the complete pump station is delivered to the project site.
Romtec offers wet well sizes from 4’ to 12’ diameter and depths to 40 feet. Wet wells are engineered to exceed all uplift, seismic and hydrostatic pressure requirements for the project site.
Unlined or Lined Precast Concrete – Choose unlined concrete or the Ameron T-Lock PVC lining that is cast into the interior surface of the concrete wet well.
Sealed Interior & Exterior Concrete – Romtec offers epoxy-based seal coats for the interior and exterior surfaces of the concrete wet well. Depending on the best situation for the project, this material can be factory-applied or field applied.
Pre-mounted Pump Discharge Elbows – The base of the wet well includes the pump discharge elbows bolted in place and ready to accept the pumps.
Penetrations & Pipe Seals – Wet well penetrations are made in the factory, so there is no field coring. Pipe seals are supplied and preinstalled by Romtec.
Pump Guide Rails, Influent Deflector or Drop Bowl – The stainless steel guide rails and optional equipment such as a deflector or drop bowl for the influent are included and shipped with the wet well. To the greatest extent possible, these items are preinstalled within the wet well before shipment.
Top Slab with Hatch – The completely prefabricated hatch is cast into the concrete wet well’s top slab.
Alignment System – Romtec supplies special fixtures with the concrete wet well sections to ensure proper alignment as they are stacked.
Lifting Anchors – All Romtec Utilities wet wells include the correct lifting fixtures for handling by a crane at the project site.
