Control Panels
Every pump station requires a control panel containing the electrical devices that operate the pumps and provide other important functions. Romtec Utilities offers a wide variety of U.L. listed electrical control panels designed for the specific requirements of each pump station that Romtec designs and supplies.
Romtec Utilities control panels are designed for simplex, duplex or triplex (one, two or three) pumps. They include all of the circuits to provide power to the pumps, receive inputs from liquid level sensors, turn the pumps on and off, alternate operation of pumps, report pump operations and send alarm signals if there is a problem.
Romtec works closely with the site engineer and local agencies to ensure the control panel meets all requirements. Many options are available: dedicated controller or alternator circuitry, variable frequency drives, elapse run time meters, NEMA-4 or NEMA-4X enclosure, auto-dialer or full SCADA capability.
