A building to house the electrical control panel and other equipment may be required for a pump station. Romtec Utilities supplies complete, turnkey control and equipment buildings. These structures are designed for the specific requirements of each pump station, with all necessary electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems available.
Romtec structures meet all building codes in every state. You are assured the building will provide the best environment for pump station operation and maintenance for many years. All design features have been taken into account: permanent concrete foundation, concrete (CMU) wall construction, structural insulated panel (SIP) roof structure, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, access for workers and equipment, building security and ease of maintenance.

Control & Equipment Shelters
A well-designed shelter for the pumping system’s control panel and other above-ground electrical equipment is an excellent investment. In addition to providing protection from the elements for operation and maintenance personnel, the shelter shades the critical electrical systems from direct sun exposure, thus helping to keep the temperature inside the enclosures within safe operating range.
Romtec Utilities offers several standard shelter designs that are pre-assembled and delivered to the pump station project mounted to a reinforced concrete slab. They feature a heavy-duty, post-and-beam structure with attractive metal roofing. You can choose from three shelter sizes with two posts, four posts or six posts. All steel framing is powder coated for durability and low maintenance.
