SITE DETAILS

Large fiberglass “community” tanks, with a total capacity of 110,000 gallons receive sewage through gravity lines in this 130-lot subdivision in Camas, Washington. Solids are separated in the tanks and are periodically pumped out. Liquid effluent flows to the pump station wet well where duplex submersible pumps deliver it through a force main to the sanitary sewer system.

Romtec Utilities provided sewage pump station engineering and supplied the entire pumping system. The pit for the tanks and the wet well, sized to compensate for the area’s high ground-water, is 25 feet deep. Effluent pump station performance is designed for 173 GPM @ 203′ TDH (duty point).
